2012 Honorees

The Robins, Kaplan, Miller and Ciresi Law Firm

The RKMC law firm has been a long-time supporter of NCPTC. The law firm has established a children’s foundation that has disbursed millions of dollars to improve the care and services provided to children including a generous contribution in support of the National Child Protection Training Center.

Patty Wetterling

Patty has been an inspiration for millions and has made a profound difference in the lives of children throughout the world. We are honored to host the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center as one of our flagship programs and are grateful for Patty’s leadership in developing and growing JWRC into a national treasure.

Nadine Block

Nadine is a national hero who has stood for the simple proposition that children should not be hit with boards in schools. As a result of her efforts, 31 states have banned corporal punishment from their schools. We are honored that when Nadine sought an organization that could continue her historic work, she chose NCPTC.

Dr. Judith Ramaley

President Ramaley has often said that NCPTC gave Winona State a "sense of purpose." Under her leadership, NCPTC completed an $11 million training facility. President Ramaley always assured us that, no matter what, this moment in history would not pass until child abuse was ended. Judith Ramaley is no longer president of WSU but her tenacity is now woven into the fabric of our organization.

Becky Paneitz

Without the leadership of Dr. Becky Paneitz, there wouldn’t be an NCPTC regional training center in Arkansas. President Paneitz immediately grasped the significance of the vision and put her whole heart and mind into making it a reality and helping to spread CAST to community colleges throughout the United States and beyond.
